My wife fell in love with the SmartCar during our 2004 Paris, France/England vacation.

I'm in Chandler. I test drove a Smartie from Tim in Mesa, but we decided against it at the time. A few months later I heard about the $99 reservation, so we're on the list awaiting a call... What do you think of your new ride? Any complaints? Lots of fun?

We both love the car, how it rides and even the mileage. We run A/C 100% of the time with very little time at speeds over 65 MPH . . . So the MPG was lower than what we expected. We are pretty sure that if we did more freeway driving and less A/C that we would be up in the 50 MPGs.

All of our problems were with the dealer . . . . Spare key took three months to get. Warranty took three months to get. Our dealer plates ran out and we couldn't drive out Smart for a week . . . took two months for the dealer to even start processing the paperwork for the registration and license plate.

But that lil' Passion/D'Vinci is so sweet . . . we get mobbed in parking lots and stop lights. We are happy with it!!:D :thumb:
